Based on the supervision and spot check work carried out by 11 provincial supervision departments on 704 ecological environment monitoring institutions in 2019, the general situation of supervision and spot check, the problems found and the punishment were summarized. This paper focus on the analysis of the main problems.Some suggestions are made such as continuously strengthening monitoring quality control and management, actively using and innovating supervision methods, paying attention to the application of supervision and spot check results, strengthening social supervision and industry’s selfdiscipline.
