Abstract:In 2020, Lianhua station was selected to conduct manual sampling in the area with high PM2.5 value in Taizhou city. The mass concentration, elemental composition, ion, organic carbon and elemental carbon of PM2.5 were analyzed. Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF) was used for source apportionment. The results showed that the main components of the atmospheric PM2.5at Lianhua were organic matter (OM, 35.7%), nitrate (NO3-, 25.6%), sulfate (SO42-, 13.9%), ammonium (NH4+,11.9%), crustal material (6.1%), chloride (Cl-, 2.3%), potassium (K+, 1.5%), elemental carbon (EC, 1.5%), trace elements (0.8%) and sodium (Na+, 0.7%). The organic matter, nitrate, sulfate and ammonium were the four primary pollutants which totally accounted for 87.1% of the atmospheric PM2.5. According to the apportionment results and the pollution characteristics, a series of control measures were proposed to deal with the regional PM2.5 pollution, such as optimizing the structure of urban road networks, enhancing the control of flying dust, banning coal combustion furnance and straw buurning, and so on .
