The results showed that high energy collision mode(HEHe) was advantageous over collision/reaction cell gas mode (He) for eliminating interferences. In HEHe mode, the method had a good linearity for78Se in the range of 0.5 ~ 100 μg/L, and the correlation coefficient(r) was over 0.999 9, and the method detection limit of78Se was 0.06 μg/L. The relative standard deviations were between 0.4% and 0.8%, and the recoveries ranged from 97.1% to 103.2%.
