The results show that the waste water purified by silica gel purification column basically eliminates the matrix interference. Gas Chromatography with nitrogen phosphorus detector can better detect atrazine and distinguish homologues interference. The method showed good linearity in the mass concentration range of 0.10 to 2.00 mg/L, and the correlation coefficient R2=0.999. The detection limit of the method was 0.2 μg/L and the limit of quantitation was 0.8 μg/L. The recovery rates of blank samples and actual samples were 90.0%~93.5% and 88.5%~90.3%,the relative standard deviations were less than 10 %.
